9 Things I’ve been Loving this Fall

Just wanted to share this quick list of things I’ve been loving this fall. Some of these things are fall related and others are just things I’ve been enjoying in general lately.

1. Trader Joes

Who doesn’t love Trader Joes? TJ totally kills it on all the seasonal goodies too. I hadn’t been to one in a long time and now I remember why I fell in love in the first place.

Some of my fall favorites are:

Pumpkin Butter – Like apple butter but better! I add it to toast, yogurt and oatmeal.
Butternut Ravioli – These cook up so fast and go perfect with browned butter.
Seasonal Flowers – I can actually keep beautiful seasonal flowers in my home thanks to TJ’s affordable prices

2. Incense

Incense have really been making a come back! I remember my mom buying cheap fruity scented ones for us in the 90’s at gas stations, but now you can find more elevated scented ones.

I’ll always be a candle girl, but I do enjoy the occassional incent. I love their smokey smell and even watching the smoke dance into the air.

The ones here in colorful packages. I can’t find them online, but I get them from a shop in Denton called Juliet Jewels.

3. Wok Pan

I’ve actually had this wok since summer, but really started using it frequently this fall and honestly I don’t know how I ever lived without it. Fits so many veggies for my stir fries! Plus, it’s super affordable! Thanks Ikea!

4. Pumpkin Pie Spice Seasoning by Frontier

I actually don’t like the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks (sorry to offend all you die hard PSL lovers), but I do love this pumpkin pie spice! Come October and I’m like the pumpkin pie spice fairy and I sprinkle it on everything!

A heavy dose goes onto home lattes, breakfast foods, apples with almond butter, pears, dessert and more, pretty much all fall and winter long! It’s delicious.

5. Billie Razor

You’ve probably seen all the influencers raving about this razor, well I finally caved and tried it out – and I’m a fan! It shaves so smooth and I love that they send them right to your door based on how often you shave and its pretty affordable. And the magnet that you hang it on takes it to the next level!

Basically, I love this cute little guy and I might actually shave this winter.

6. Roasted Root Veggies

One of my favorite things to cook in the fall – roasted roots! Shave, cube, oil and season with salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary. Roast at 400 till soft and starting to caramelize. My favorite veggies to roast are carrots, sweet potatoes and beets (all the different colors!). Next time I think I’m gonna add some parsnips too.

7. This Golden Pumpkin Wreath

Target’s done it again and I’m constantly pleased with their Opalhouse line. I love this wreath and how sturdy it is. You could hang it like I’ve done here or even lay it flat as a centerpiece with decor in the center for your thanksgiving table.

8. Rug Tape

I had pretty much given up on having small rugs in my house with a big dog, because they never stayed in place on the hardwood as Hazel ran across them. Until rug tape!

P.S. I tried a previous brand that didn’t work well at all, but this one is amazingly strong!

9. Amazon Prime Video

Move over Netflix! Have y’all watched any of the Amazon original stuff? I’ve been digging it lately.

Here are a few of the ones I’ve enjoyed recently.

Modern Love: a heart warming show about love in this modern world. Each episode is it’s own story with its own characters.

I loved that these stories were short story-like and it wasn’t a show I had to keep up with so to speak. I just popped it on when I wanted a quick show that made me feel warm and connected to the universal feelings of love.

Life Itself: more love stories but connected beautifully through generations. It’s a make you think about the beauty of love and life kind of movie.
