I love skincare, from oils to creams to face masks and all the in betweens, but today I’m talking about one of the most (if not the most) important products of a skincare routine – sunscreen! Whether you’re a fair skinned beauty (like me!) or a sun kissed goddess, you need sunscreen. Everyday! But if you’ve had a bad relationship with sunscreen in the past, then read ahead, because all thats about to change!
I used to hate sunscreen
My dermatologist told me I needed to wear sunscreen every single day, but even after having a few pre-cancerous moles removed, I still wasn’t on board. Why? Because I hated it.
The ones I had tried (and I tried a bunch) were greasy, sticky, didn’t smell good, stung my sensitive skin and sometimes left me with a white film. So I just stopped using them… Unless I was going swimming, sunscreen didn’t touch my skin…

1. Unseen Sunscreen
This is the holy grail of facial sunscreens and my very first lovely introduction to Supergoop and their magical sunscreen line.
This sunscreen is seriously UNSEEN!
You won’t be left with a sticky feeling or a white film. You won’t smell like sunblock either. It goes on super silky and actually kind of blurs your pores like a primer. It gives my skin a nice smooth look without causing any breakouts. Seriously, when is the last time you put sunscreen on and felt prettier?
I wear this baby every single day, whether I’m just running errands around town or posted up at the beach on vacation. I honestly could have titled my last blog post the “11” items in my carry-on every single trip instead of 10 because this is always with me and carry-on size approved!
2. Sunscreen Mousse
This mousse goes on like a dream and leaves your skin feeling super hydrated with its rich shea butter and coconut oil. This is my go to if I’m spending a lot of time outside.
3. Acai Fusion Lip Balm
When I was a teen, I used a chapstick at the lake that reacted horribly with the sun and burned my lips so bad. They were 3 times their normal size and covered in blisters. Ouch!
So, now I’m a little picky about what I put on my lips in the sun and I use this balm anytime I know I’m going to be in the sun. It protects my pout with a light pink tint that smells as yummy as it looks.
Seriously, Supergoop has changed my relationship with sunscreen for the better and I don’t think we’ll ever breakup.
